Welcome To Honey Bear Trees
Since 1986, Honey Bear Trees in Redwood City has been a trusted source of the finest Christmas trees. We offer a variety of different sustainable trees, including hard-to-find tall trees ranging from 10-ft. to over 20-ft. tall. Wreaths, garland, mistletoe and tree stands.
Our commercial program supplies Christmas trees for your business, special events and corporate sites. Through our fundraising program we've donated over $80,000 to support schools, clubs, churches, and non-profits in and around San Mateo and Santa Clara County.
The Story of Honey Bear Trees
Honey Bear Trees began over 40 years ago, when a young beekeeper in Oregon began growing Christmas Trees on a lark. Hans, the beekeeper and now a tree grower, began giving away a free bottle of honey whenever he sold a tree. Christmas Trees and honey? To Hans it was a perfect combination.
Since 1986, Honey Bear Trees in Redwood City has continued this tradition. We still give a free bottle of honey (while supplies last) with every Christmas tree sold. And Hans? Well, he's a little older now. He still grows Honey Bear trees and takes care of his busy bees. Some things never change, and we're glad.
Now we've added a tree lot in San Carlos and at the American Legion in Redwood City to showcase our beautiful trees from throughout the Pacific Northwest. We meet or exceed USDA Standards, promote sustainable farming and share best practices. We are members of the Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association, National Christmas Tree Association and California Christmas Tree Association.
Locally, Honey Bear Trees supports the community that we grew up in, with our membership in the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, the Elk's Club and through our school and non-profit fundraising program.
